    Tour Description
    Damnoen Saduak floating market has a worldwide fame for its beauty as a market on the water.  This market is located in Ratchaburi province at around 100 km from Bangkok and can be reached by car in around one and a half hours. Around 150 years ago, during the reign of King Rama IV, a canal was dug out at Damnoen Saduak.   
    In those days, the waterways were the center of economic activity and much of the transport was done by boat.  Since then countless of smaller canals have been dug out to provide the surrounding land with water for irrigation.   In the morning is the best time to visit the market, all the vendors come out and sell many varieties of fruits and food.  All exotic fruits such as banana, pomelo, guava, coconut, mango, pineapple, durian, rose apple and other local fruits are found. They offer a sensational taste since they all are home grown and offer you a refreshing and healthy snack during the hot tropical days.

An interesting way of seeing different  Thai way of life.  Temple of Dawn was built during the glory day of the Ayutthaya period and was originally called Wat Makok.
